Ballard Bike-in Cinema

Thursdays in June, Saturdays in July, and a few special nights in August. [5608 Seaview Ave NW, west of Ballard along the Burke-Gilman trail. 9pm. FREE]

An assortment of big-screen pleasers about bikes, Hollywood, sand, adolescence, relationships, dystopia, and art, with previews curated by Max and Graham, selected shorts, and additional work on display by local artists.

August 4: My Dinner With “My Dinner With Andre”: a full meal and wine served alongside the longest dinner scene in film history, with a menu inspired by the film* (21+, limited seating, $15 suggested donation, reservations only: email mydinner@fictilis.com)

*NOTE: Loosely inspired, by the following items ordered by the characters in the film: terrine de poisson (fish pâté) and cailles aux raisins (roasted quail with raisins); a hearty potato mushroom soup called bramborova polevka; a small green salad and bread to accompany each entrée; red wine; after-dinner espresso and a shot of amaretto.
