Artworks in conversation with social movements

Museum of Capitalism exhibitions also sought to put artists in dialogue with ongoing movements, creating a rich setting for various groups to use for their own events and organizing, from educators, activists, and advocacy groups working on pressing issues like housing, migration, anti-monopoly, and more. Some artists collaborated directly with such groups to develop and activate their work, and our curatorial approach encourages such collaborations.
