Wastewater Walk is a participatory set of public events that trace the hidden pathways of human waste from toilets to treatment facilities, across various institutions and locations. These walks, which have taken place in locations like Princeton and UC Santa Cruz, use mapping exercises, water information stations, performances, and audio tours to raise awareness about environmental inefficiencies, social inequities, and the psychological dimensions of modern waste management systems.
